Hi! My name is Andy Cooper. I based this page on my passion and love for fly tying. My intent is to build a large, easy-to-use, interactive database of fly patterns. This web site will change very quickly over the next few months with feedback from readers like you.
This web page relies on flies contributed from readers like you. It doesn't matter whether you're an amateur or professional; your help in adding flies to the database is greatly appreciated.
First, check the database to make sure that the fly you'd like to contribute isn't already there. This can be done by typing in the fly's name in the search box on the Home page. I will accept any fly that is not currently in the database. Don't feel that you have to have an original pattern; I will take classic flies, variations on common patterns and originals, anything goes.
