Established in 1912, the first recorded meeting of the stockholders was on January 29th of that year. In 1950, a full service bank was opened in White House.

In 1973 a drive-in branch was opened in Portland, and in 1982 a drive-in branch was opened in White House. In December of 1983, The Farmers Bank acquired the stock of U.S. Bank of Robertson County in Springfield, which serves as our Springfield Office.
