Description
ClubCorp has named Joel Jaffe as the new Club Manager of The Downtown Club (The Downtown Club includes the former Houston Center Club, The Met Business and Sport Club, and The Plaza Club) in Houston Texas. Jaffe, a 24-year veteran of the private business club industry, was chosen after a nationwide search.
Jaffe joined ClubCorp in 1981 as the Food & Beverage Director at April Sound County Club in Conroe Texas. Most recently with ClubCorp’s University Club and Houston City Club, Jaffe’s primary responsibilities will be to oversee the day-to-day operations and growth of The Downtown Club. Jaffe will also act as Regional Specialist over seven Houston area Clubs. Jaffe is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and is on the Board of Directors of the Galleria Chamber of Commerce.
