The hotel is located on the Eastern Shore of Virginia in the historic town of Onancock at 7 North Street, just four blocks from the deep water harbor on Onancock Creek. The building was created in 1907 as the White Hotel. When the present owners (Charlotte Heath & Gary Cochran) purchased the building, the two upstairs floors were serving as apartments and the downstairs was a vacant retail space.
