Welcome to The Capitol Bulldog Club
Description
The purpose of The Capitol Bulldog Club is the propagation of the Bulldog breed, to stimulate interest in public exhibition of the breed, and to safeguard the interest of Bulldogs, Breeders, Exhibitors & Fanciers. The Club is licensed as a Specialty Club by the American Kennel Club (AKC) and is a Member Specialty Club of the Bulldog Club of America (BCA), Division VII.
The Club’s membership area includes the Metropolitan Washington D. C. Area including the counties comprising Northern Virginia, and the counties of Maryland surrounding the District of Columbia, east to the Eastern Shore of Maryland, including Southern Maryland, and south to Fredericksburg, Virginia.
The Club holds annual dog show events to include AKC Approved Conformation, Sweepstakes and Match Shows, as Independent Specialty Events, and also has teamed with its Parent Club, Div VII, BCA to host Combined Specialty Events.
