Hi! I'm Stephanie. I am interested in political science, international relations and Canadian and world history. I have a BAH in Arts (focusing on Political Studies with courses in political theory and international relations) at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. Right now I'm in the middle of a PhD in International Relations at the London School of Economics and Political Science in the UK.
How did this site come around? Well it is an interesting tale of intrigue and deception.... or rather the combination of a Canada-loving political-geek, a couple conferences and a long summer....
In March 1996, I attended the FORUM FOR YOUNG CANADIANS conference for one week in Ottawa - the Capital of Canada. There, my interest in Canada and the Canadian government was heightened through meeting various officials and getting to visit government institutions in general. At the conference I met Canadians my own age from every part of the country and of every different background imaginable. (If any senior high school student is interested, they should visit the Forum Home page at www.forum.ca - it really is a worth while experience.)
