There definitely is history here at The Call. It was originally known as "The Last Call Saloon" which opened in the early 1980's. Under new management in the mid 1990's, it received a total renovation. With it's new dynamic sound system and lavishly remodeled interior, it proudly reopened it's doors as "The Call". Today, The Call is known as one of the Top Blues Clubs in the U.S.A.! The Call has hosted performances by legendary artists including Taj Mahal, Koko Taylor, Son Seals, James Cotton, John Mayall, NRBQ, The Radiators, Buddy Miles, Duke Robillard, and Ronnie Earl.

Located in a historic building, The Call and The Century Lounge have a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. The warmth of wood and brick next to the handcrafted oak bar create an ambience unlike any other club in Southern New England. The Call and the Century Lounge combine world-class sound and lighting with intimate, custom designed rooms that allow for maximum contact between performer and the audience.

There are direct sight lines to the stage from every area of the bar. It has an amazing P.A. system that was custom designed to create a clear and balanced sound. Live productions at The Call and The Century Lounge are given top quality promotion and advertising using the internet, video, print, radio, and special mailings.Our courteous professional staff includes dedicated sound and light technicians. We have the capability of creating full multimedia productions by utilizing modern technologies. This includes the use of multiple digital cameras, hard disk recording, plus multitrack audio/video editing and mastering. We specialize in the production of streaming media for the world wide web.
