Description

Hi. My name is Jeff Pessetto. I build long travel extreme performance, cost conscience, Buggies. I do this because I love the sport and most of the people that are in it. My philosophy is "Reliability through simplicity". So what I have done is taken a very simple design principle and tried my best to implement it into a off-road play car. My design ideas came from a simple source. I have followed the models. Large remote control car companies have spent millions of dollars in designing, testing, and modifying hundreds of different designs. Only the best prevailed. All of the best RC cars are A-arm front and rear. Walk in to a hobby shop and see for your self. If you go back many years in the RC world you will see the suspension that is being used on almost every long travel sand car out there today. There are many benefits to A-Arm suspension. Adjustable camber at the turn of a wrench. Zero toe change through out the entire arch of travel. Enormous wheel travel.

Center pivot A-arms I believe are the future. Taking it a step farther, I now had the task of making it simple, affordable, and most importantly reliable.

I have an extensive background in automotive repair. Being a certified mechanic for many years, I have spent thousands of hours under cars and trucks searching for the parts that can be adapted to use in building sand cars, race cars, and desert play cars and trucks. Once I found these parts I built the first long travel car. This was in 1998, and the car is still running strong. None of those factory parts have worn out. This is the green two seat car on this web site. I have since improved the design and part lists for the cars. Many of the parts can be found at your local parts store. All the parts have been tested by Large Auto Makers for the durability and longevity we demand as consumers. If you have ever broken a buggy while camping somewhere for the weekend. Usually that would mean that your weekend is over. If not over, then at the very least turned into a frustrating nightmare. Not if the parts are as common as the ones I use to build my buggies. A quick trip to any parts store and you are going again. The parts are also very common, so they are inexpensive to purchase. Granted not all of the parts are there, but the big ones are. Ball-Joints, Bearings, Break Calipers and Rotors. The parts that come from the off-road industry are in most cases the best.
