The Millennium Book Project is part of the Millennium Festival celebrations and is being funded by the Arts Council of England. The issues project is also being supported and funded by Luton Borough Council and Artists Network Beds.
The book project is a womens art project and is hoping to involve as many women as possible. We all have stories to tell and the book project gives women the opportunity to share those stories, thoughts, feelings and ideas using words, pictures, feminism and feminist collage world issues, womens issues, and stitchwork in small hand made books. The subject matter is endless, from the deeply personal, health, therapy to concerns about world issues, whatever you feel is important and would want to share.
