Testware Associates was founded in 1994. At that time, the market for test automation tools was"heating up." We saw that many companies were making large investments on these tools but that the tools often ended up as "shelfware," sitting on a shelf, unused. Why? To make a long story short, it turns out that users of these tools really needed a programming / software development background to use the tools effectively.
