Parent Resource video contains live footage of parents of teens in a special group of schools and programs. These parents express their appreciation for the schools and programs that have changed their teens life for the better. Each of these parents have found that their teens have new hopes, new goals, new respect for themselves and others, and most important the family unit has been strengthened. This video is offered online in the following formats: Streaming, and Progressive Download. This video is offered online in the following media types: Windows Media Player, Real Player, QuickTime, and Flash.
Streaming Video connects to a Streaming Server that supports RTSP (real-time streaming protocol) which keeps your viewer's computer in constant touch with the server running the movie. The advantage to streaming is you immediately get to view the video, however you do lose some quality when streaming.
Progressive Download - Downloads the entire movie to your web browser or player. In this download you have to wait for the movie to download before you can watch it. Progressive download takes longer, however the quality is usually better. Another advantage for using progressive downloads is that you can play the movie over with out having to re-download it (if you have the cache option on).
