Description
When ICOS discovered and patented the diaphragm wall system in 1950, a new kind of equipment became necessary. Our history and tradition of designing and manufacturing specialty foundation equipment began at that time.
Since those days we gave our contribution to the construction of subways, dams, major public buildings and many other projects all over the world, always responding to the problems rising from the various types of soils and satisfying project requirements.
Our goal is to continuously improve existing products and to develop new ones. Our most recent products are the Stop-end- pipe E.L.®, which involves a new working method, and the "BO" clamshell grab, a specially reduced grab designed and fabricated for excavations under Boston's elevated highway, part of the Central Artery Project.
