- In 1998, Daniel Lampert founded a new company to help organizations manage their web information independently. It was a radical concept at the time. Most web design firms were producing web sites that required the vendor to make all of the changes and updates. However, we wanted to give that power to the "owners" of the web content. So, the workload would be distributed among the staffpeople at the client company. This concept, although a departure from the norm, had benefits that were very clear. Bottle-necks in workflow would be avoided, and programming costs would decrease.
