In 1998 Niels Kleine and Ronnie Nelis started to take their first paid steps in PC-games development by winning a national gamedevelopment competition. Not long after this, lead programmer Erwin de Vries joins the team and in 2001 Team6 game studios was officially founded by Ronnie Nelis, Erwin de Vries and Nico Braam.
