TCC has structured prices so you know what to expect. We call them flat rates. There are no hourly rates, no hidden costs, no bench fees and as long as we repair the unit, the pickup and delivery is free. In the consumer electronic repair industry the philosophy is that if the repair costs less than forty percent of the replacement value, then get it repaired. After a market study, we have determined that our rates fall within this range.
It's generally better to repair than to replace for a number of reasons. Monitors, terminal displays should have a life of ten to fifteen years. LCD screens should last even longer. All it takes is a tiny component to render a monitor useless.Until the tube or main transformer fails, it would be wise getting the unit repaired.
