About Us
TaylorMaulin & Associates was established in the early 1970's by Sam Taylor, then an executive in the footwear industry. Called Taylor & Associates, Sam hired a work crew, including Steve Maulin, to help run his expanding business. Soon, he moved out of his basement darkroom and into the location at 10748 Indian Head, and added a photography studio, to go with his darkroom. The business grew, as did Sam, and in 1992 he retired to a life of painting, bass fishing, and antiques.
Steve Maulin bought the business, and changed the name to TaylorMaulin & Associates. The present crew of John Kosla and Mark D'Harlingue have been with Steve since 1983. In June of 2003, Steve moved his business to our new, friendlier location, in Maplewood. Sadly, Sam Taylor passed away that same summer.
With the addition of digital photography and digital output, Steve, John, and Mark continue to provide you, the customer, with the quality imaging that you desire, and deserve, from Hand Processed B&W Film, Archival Black and White Fiber Based Prints, Custom Color Prints from negatives, to the newest Digital Services ! Not to mention quality Studio and Location Photography! We can do it all for you.
