Our goal is to provide quality, personalized care for the horses, and to offer a safe, enjoyable, equestrian environment for riders.
Horses settle in quickly here at Tapestry, and they really enjoy the extra-large paddocks, turn-outs, lush green grazing, warm water baths at the washracks, great footing, and an abundance of awesome trails. Our boarders come from a wide variety of backgrounds such as hunter/jumper, parade riding, horse camping, dressage, trail, Western and English pleasure, and natural horsemanship (Pat & Linda Parelli, Roger Dunning, John Lyons, Buck Brannamon, and Clinton Anderson). Children & dogs are not allowed to run rampant, and safety and common courtesy rules are enforced. We offer a rich social environment, full of experienced horsepeople and most importantly, we have lots of FUN!
Drawn to horses and introduced to riding at age six, Sally Cobb had the privilege of growing up near Will Roger's State Park in Pacific Palisades, California. Thanks to an incredible mom who drove her to the park every day, she spent her early horse-crazy years grooming, exercising, and hot-walking polo ponies, training race horses for polo, cleaning tack, feeding supplements, rolling bandages and other barn chores, having fun with gymkhana, taking riding lessons, and riding all types of horses, showing, and traveling to work the polo games at Santa Barbara and Hollywood Park. She worked at the Will Rogers polo grounds for players including Joel Baker (now married to dressage judge Charlotte Bredahl), Jim Adams, Phil Ramsey, and Will's son Charlie Rogers. Sally has had the privilege of learning from many instructors and employers including DiAnn Langer (now at LAEC), Suzie Hoover, Jeremy Hastings (Foxwood Equestrian Center), Cathi Simm, Lisa Halterman, Kim Keenan, and Jill Borders-Beltran. She has also enjoyed the experience of working in administration, barn management, sport horse rehabilitation and breeding management and has expanded her knowledge through association with barns including Hunter's Run, North Coast Equestrian Park, Foxwood Equestrian Center, Far West Farms, and Wildflower Ranch.
