- Violette Silvester & Sons, Inc. was founded in 1898 by Ralph Silvester who ran the company with his son Violette. In 1948 he turned the company over to his three sons, Jim, Michael and Bill. The company became incorporated in February, 1950. Currently Bill Silvester, Jr. is the fourth generation who now owns the company. Bill Silvester, Sr. holds the position of President and is still very active with sales calls.
