After Adoption is the largest provider of independent adoption support services in the UK. We work with adopted children and adults, adoptive families and birth relatives to help them deal with the difference adoption brings to their life.
Since After Adoption was founded in Manchester in 1990 we have answered over 30,000 requests for help. Our organisation has grown and developed and we now work across the North East, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Lancashire, Midlands, London and the South and South and West Wales.
We provide individual, group and family work for people affected by adoption.We also have a family finding project, 'Families that Last' which helps to place children who have found it hard to find a home.
