Description
Darran is a PGA golf professional who has participated in both the European Tour and the Canadian Tour over recent years. Before we go any further, please note the spelling of his name. Darran neither hails from Northern Ireland nor sports a wayward spiky blonde hairdo, although he wouldn´t mind the earnings of his namesake, Darren Clarke. Darran, when employed as Head Teaching Professional at Estepona Golf Course, used to feature on local Costa del Sol radio show giving golfing tips to listeners. The phone lines would go crazy during the show as the public got confused between an Irish accent and a Kent accent, but it certainly boosted the stations ratings. After his two years at Estepona Golf, Darran became a Sales Manager for a large Costa del Sol real estate agency and discovered a natural affinity for sales. T5 Estates for Darran was the culmination of several months spent carefully crafting a business plan, firstly in his head and eventually on paper until he was satisfied that the formula would work. Darran's wife, Amanda, being a qualified accountant, will be keeping a close eye on T5 Estates' finances and Darran's seven year old daughter, Sophie, will be assisting in drawing up contracts on her Fisher Price typewriter. We must also welcome Darran's new addition to the family, baby Roxxi-Lou.
With an 'average' handicap hovering around the 15 mark, Andrew could by no means be described as a golf professional. Andrew is however, without doubt, a golf nutcase. As often as permits, Andrew can be found driving and putting on each and every course on the Costa del Sol, his favourite being Los Arqueros. After 13 years as a small business adviser for a well known high street bank, Andrew fell into estate agency for a small company based in Cardiff and has been plugging property ever since. He and Darran met when they worked for the same Costa del Sol real estate agency where Andrew held the title of Investment Manager. He had a team of 14 staff and personally headed the league tables for sales for most of the three and a half years that he worked there. He has never looked back and has no regrets on his lifestyle change. Andrew has a two year old son, Alex, who be responsible for any sticky fingerprints spotted on T5 Estates documentation
