About Sydney North Region
Sydney North Region is a region of Scouts Australia, NSW Branch. The Region encompasses the Hornsby, Hunters Hill, Manly, Pittwater, Lane Cove, Ku-ring-gai, North Sydney, Warringah and Mosman Councils and the Willoughby and Ryde City Councils.
Scouting is a worldwide youth movement with over 28 million members. It is a voluntary, non-political educational movement for young people, open to all.
The Scout program offers a flexible range of activities adapted to the needs of the community. Activities are based on the interests of the young people involved, with an emphasis on useful skills and service to others. Many Scout activities take place in the outdoors with a spirit of adventure and challenge.
