Company Overview
SYColeman is a wholly owned subsidiary of L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL). In 2002, SYColeman was formed through the integration of two separate businesses: SY Technology, Inc., and Coleman Research Corporation. SY Technology, Inc., operating since 1986, was an important provider of operations integration and other defense support services. Coleman Research Corporation, established in 1980, was a leading provider of critical space and missile defense products and services. At the time of the integration of assets, both companies were leading providers of critical space and missile defense products and services, and business process improvement services (e.g., organizational assessment, strategic planning, strategic communications).
Today, SYColeman is a single dynamic organization. We provide high quality support services to a myriad of customers in both the Department of Defense (DoD) and commercial sectors from several locations throughout the United States, Iraq, and Puerto Rico. SYColeman is organized and staffed to provide state-of-the-art solutions to our Nation’s most difficult challenges.
SYColeman is organized around four Business Units – each located in close proximity to its primary customer base. Our Corporate Headquarters are located in Crystal City, Virginia.
