“I was working on the movie, and there was this background lamp in a window, a blue lamp, with a nondescript lampshade. I thought that it could use a better shade than it had. At the end of the movie I bought the lamp, and brought it home. I destroyed the shade and welded together a new one. I got some stretchy, blue, lycra material and sewed a new cover for the redesigned frame.
