Description
My photojournalistic approach to weddings means shots are candid, unrehearsed, and really capture the spirit of each moment and the entire day. I work in the background, shooting spontaneously, to record images naturally as they occur. While I do often shoot various informal portraits(such as images you want of favorite family members together), my focus remains on being as unobtrusive as possible to let things unfold in a way that lets you focus on your wedding day, not the photographer.
I don't have a limit on the number of photos I take, I shoot as many as necessary to depict the day accurately. Generally you can expect me to shoot 50-100 images per hour of coverage. I shoot in both black&white and color(your choice, or a combination), using primarily digital, 35mm equipment to offer the widest range of options when it comes to image quality. Shooting digitally also allows me to offer a distinct pricing advantage over photographers using film since I don't have the added expense of film cost.
I have a Master of Arts from NC State and while there, I studied several areas of photography including photographic technique and Ilfochrome processing. I am also a member of Professional Photographers of America™ which helps me stay current with the latest trends in photography.
