I welcome you to Southwestern College and hope you will consider us as your graduate school of choice for entering the counseling field. We are a community of students and faculty located in the world-class city of Santa Fe, New Mexico that is dedicated to exploring the process of transformation and healing in a conscious way.
We seek to apply this knowledge, enabling us to effectively respond therapeutically to the suffering in others and the world around us, while also discovering the ability to fully live well and mindfully. Our students discover their deep desire to be of service by becoming transformational leaders in their communities.
Our masters programs prepare students for a variety of rewarding mental health jobs. Students are challenged to acquire knowledge and skills in the context of a rigorous applied curriculum. They learn to cultivate the qualities of transformational leadership so they can assist others to realize their full potential.
