Kevin Barrett has been in law enforcement for the past 15 years. He is currently a primary entry team member of his department’s special response team (S.W.A.T.). Kevin’s past assignments include criminal investigations, drug task force, bicycle patrol and patrol. Kevin has participated in hundreds of tactical operations, such as: high-risk search/arrest warrant services, clandestine laboratory enforcement, barricaded subject incidents, and dignitary protection. Kevin has specialized training and experiences in close quarter battle (CQB), hostage rescue, counter terrorism, dignitary protection, and linear (bus & airline) assault operations. He is a court certified expert in clandestine laboratory investigation (DEA/ CLET certifications). Kevin attended Indiana State University, and is a certified instructor through the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy. He is also a member of the National Tactical Officers Association.
Greg Ferency has been in law enforcement for the past 14 years and has been assigned to an area Drug Task Force since January 1996. He has extensive history in drug related crimes as both an investigator and undercover officer. Greg has specialized training and experience in methamphetamine related investigations. He has certifications from the DEA Clandestine Laboratory Enforcement Team (CLET) in the area of Basic, Site Safety and Tactical Operations. Greg has been at the scene of over 550 methamphetamine lab scenes as both lead investigator and site safety officer since 1999. He is a court certified expert in methamphetamine and its associated clandestine labs. Greg has trained law enforcement, civilian groups, educational system employees, medical staff, and correctional personnel in methamphetamine and other drug related topics. Greg is the author of Narc Ops: A Look Inside Drug Enforcement, which was published in May 2003. Greg is also the owner of the Narc Ops Consulting Group LLC.
Brent Stoelting has been in law enforcement for the past 14 years. He graduated from Indiana State University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology. He began his law enforcement career in 1991 and has been assigned to an area drug task force where he worked as a case detective, and was responsible for the electronic surveillance of the unit. He is a trained crime scene technician, and was also assigned to his department's adult criminal case division as a case detective. Brent is a graduate of the BATF's basic and advanced post blast investigation schools, the United States Army's Dignitary Protection for law enforcement school, and the FBI Observer/Sniper School. Brent is currently an entry team member and sniper on his department's special response team (SRT). Brent is also a Major in the United States Army Reserve Military Police Corps. In 2003-2004, Brent was deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. While deployed, he was assigned to the Coalition Provisional Authority Ministry of Justice in Baghdad, Iraq. His duties included the investigation of corruption in the newly formed Iraqi leadership, and reconstruction project management.
