About the creator of the website
My name is Ingrid Lemme; I live in the Hamptons on Long Island in a small coastal town called Montauk, which reminds me very much on the charming, historic village of Swan Quarter and the precious Inner Banks - where we intend to retire … whatever that means. I host a TV Talk show The American Dream (R) Show AmericanDreamShow.com since over a decade. You may watch it on your computer on WADTV.com if you like.
My husband is Sunshine Glen Lemme, he earned recently a Masters Degree in Emergency Management - Magna Cum Laude from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in NYC. We have two adult sons: Thorsten (who is married to Simone) lives in Germany and New York and is the President of Seven Stars and Stripes SevenStarsandStripes.com and Nick (Dom) who lives a half hour north from Swan Quarter in another charming coastal town called Columbia, NC. He has recently gotten married to Neli at the 4H Conference Center in Columbia.
If you like to see the wedding pictures, log on to NickAndNeli.com ! Nick is an excellent carpenter and he works his trade on the Inner and Outer Banks, he loves fishing and hunting. He is in the process of renovating our Victorian house in the village of Swan Quarter and we cannot wait until it is ready so we can spend our vacations there. We love to ride our bikes, and since the ferry to Ocracoke Island is practically just around the corner, you bet we’ll spend also some time over on the Outer Banks.
We maintain the website because we adore the charming town of Swan Quarter and its friendly people and would like to share its beauty with you. We try to implement new photos in the gallery whenever we visit. If you think something is missing, please send us an e-mail to
This is a work in progress.
