The Southwest Vermont Supervisory Union (SVSU) includes six school districts: Bennington, North Bennington, Shaftsbury, Pownal, Woodford and the Mt. Anthony Union School District No. 14 which includes Mt. Anthony Middle and High Schools. The Bennington School District has three K-5 schools (Bennington Elementary, Molly Stark Elementary, and Monument Elementary). North Bennington, Shaftsbury, Pownal and Woodford School Districts each have a K-6 elementary school.
