Single Volunteers Boston (SVB) is a non-profit organization that connects singles who share a common interest in volunteerism. By coordinating a series of volunteer events, SVB strives to help its members cultivate new friendships while they affect change in their local community
2002 - Twenty affiliates are active, eighteen in US cities, one in Canada, and one in Australia. Single Volunteers Boston is launched.
Bob (SVB Co-Director) - Bob joined us after being brainwashed at a WGBH event. He has now taken over the Co-Directors role from Stephanie. You will find me walking by the Charles River when not helping teamlead an event or social. He also likes swing dancing too. Bob has been involved with the Social Planning Committe plus a member of the strategic planning committee.
