- Within the offshore oil rig industry, excess oil and gas production is burned-off, and with existing systems if the flare is extinguished there is a high risk that oil will be discharged into the sea causing pollution and contamination. Sure-Glow has been developed specifically to prevent this risk, with a continuous ignition flame that is maintained through an electrical feed and supply of gas.
