Sunrise Crafts - Handcrafted Gifts and Treasures
Description
I've been pressing flowers and creating pictures for about 15 years. Because of my love of flowers and desire to use my artistic ability to create lasting treasures Sunrise Crafts was born. The flowers/greenery used in the picture creations and cards are from my garden and surrounding natural areas. I also have a passion for gardening and I'm a great admirer of Mother nature's wonders.
Photographs featured on the cards have been taken by Lois. Some pictures are flowers from my garden, others are scenes in and around Alberta including some of our very picturesque Rocky Mountains. These are some of my favorite places to visit.
All of the knitted and crocheted items are handcrafted by my Mother Elizabeth. She is retired and loves making delicately crocheted and knitted things such as baby sweater sets, dresses and doilies. Elizabeth has been making these treasures all of her life. The Barbie dolls are one of her passions and the ones featured on this site are just a few from her collection. None of the dolls are new and all have been rescued from various places over the years. They are all in excellent condition and have been cleaned. Some are inserted, legs first, into a styro-foam cone that has been covered while others have a proper stand allowing them to always be in the upright position. Dress styles/colours vary and they really are elegant looking - fit for a ball!
