ABOUT US - We are a string quartet ensemble made of two violins, viola, and cello that performs live music for weddings, receptions, parties, banquets, and many other occasions. We have been in business since 2001, and we travel to events throughout the North Texas region. The "Sun Quartet" name is an homage to Franz Joseph Haydn's Op. 20 collection of string quartets composed in 1772. The quartets were named the "sun quartets" after the title-page design of the first printed edition in 1774.
