Description
Our Technology Platform consists of moving CADD drawing data from the "old fashion" DXF flat file format (which is converted from dozens of other proprietary flat file CADD formats) to an "open" SQL database format.
SQL Database technology inherently provides the capability for CADD drawings to contain vastly more information than just simple lines and text on paper. By using this technology, a single CADD Drawing becomes an Information Document that may contain references to whole libraries of information, hence the term, " Information Rich CADD Drawing ".
The advantage of storing CADD drawing data in an SQL database is immediate. It means that ANY single Drawing Object (database record) in the Drawing Database can be linked (related to) ANY other information field in either the same or different databases. Therefore, the possibilities are limited only by the imagination of the user or developer.
