Sundive is Byron Bay's only PADI dive centre. Since it was established in 1988, Sundive has earned numerous PADI service awards and is internationally recognised as a centre of excellence in diver training. Training ranges from beginner dive courses through to instructor certifications.
Under new ownership since July 2002, Sundive still has all the friendly faces that you have grown accustomed to plus the added energy of new owner Giacomo (Jack) Cavazzini. Giacomo - An underwater explorer for nearly 15 years, Giac is one of the proud new owners of Sundive Byron Bay. Having concentrated most of his extensive diving career along the NSW Southern coastline Giac has finally found his home among the rich waters of Byron Bay. Originally from Italy, Giac grew up and learned to dive in Sydney. Giac is an Environmental Science graduate from UNSW, PADI Staff Instructor and a DAN Ist Aid Instructor. He is also trained as a TDI Deco Procedures, Advanced Nitrox and Dolphin SCR Diver. One of the few Sundive Crew who feels just as comfortable with 4 Tanks as he does with 1.
