It all started when Marie Tynan, a Florida state-licensed interior designer, borrowed her friend's golf car, way back in 1991. The need for a comfortable slipcover was apparent and Marie was confident she could design one. Soon, SUNCOVERS was launched and the "first" SUNCOVERS made out of SUNBRELLA® Fabrics were created.
