The work of a voice teacher is to establish a safe and supportive environment for the voice student and to guide the student to a better understanding of how his or her voice works.
I believe in setting professional studio standards and I expect my students to reflect this professionalism in their practice habits, attitude toward voice study and singing, and in their performance.
The study of voice requires discipline, enormous positive mental energy and concentration. Everything we do is a reflection of who we are. The motivated student will succeed. The patient student will learn more quickly than will an impatient counterpart. The dedicated student will reap countless tangible and intangible rewards of study.
