From Jingletown to the World Studio 880 is located in Oakland, California's "Jingle Town" neighborhood, named back in the 30's for the predominantly poor Portuguese population who, as legend has it, would walk the streets in their Zoot Suits with hands in pockets jingling the little change that they had.
