Description
Studio 206 is designed to make the recording process as easy and painless for a band as possible. If you're able to play a live show anywhere, I'll bring all the gear to you, and record the show in its entirety. Most clubs do not have a problem with this, but I have found its good to check with them ahead of time. I'll record 16 channels simultaneously, for maximum mixing capabilities after the show. Should you require more channels, let me know, I can usually arrange to expand my rig to 24.
After the show, If you want, I can send you a CD or mp3s of the show so you can proof the mix. The rough mixes will enable you to listen to each song and decide which ones are good enough to be placed on your album. We all know sometimes mistakes are made that you just dont want to commit to eternity, so this allows you to hear everything and make cuts.
Then, I'll do more complete mixes of each individual track. You will receive a copy of the final mixes from your album, and you will then be able to choose whether you want to have your tracks mastered. I would be happy to recommend a mastering house, if you would like, or you can take the final mix from me and have it mastered on your own.
