THE TRADITION GOES ON: With this its 3 8 th year, the Stratham Fair is one of the oldest Country Fairs in New England. What started as a 250th Anniversary Celebration with a Lobster Bake and some Horse Pulling for amusement, has grown into a family event that is attended by over 40 ,000 people each year. In addition to being a summertime tradition and event, the Stratham Fair is the major fundraising event for the Stratham Volunteer Fire Department. The Stratham Fair also provides fundraising opportunities for many of the youth groups and other Social Service Organizations in town.
TRADITION OF VOLUNTEERISM: Volunteers are what makes the Stratham Fair "NHs Finest"! The Stratham Fair is organized and run by volunteers. Each year Strathams Finest Volunteers work shoulder-to-shoulder with their neighbors, transforming Stratham Hill Park from an empty field into a vibrant “city” !
SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE : Each year the Fair Committee searches out activities to be sure that there really is "something for everybody at the Fair." This year will include a barbeque, Entertainers Andy Griggs, Chad Burdick, John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band, Granite Rock , and much more!
