Description
Straitjacket are a comedy group from Newcastle in the north East of England and comprise Tom Bennett, Ian Todd and Keith Dickinson. The group, who started in 2003, have so far successfully written for the BBC and are currently writing for E4. Straitjacket also perform their material and screen shows across the UK , as well as the Edinburgh festival.
Ian is responsible for seeking out new bands and artists from across the country and we choose what fits best to the material.
The general idea will be scripted by Ian or Tom and then the group will storyboard it into shots ready to film. After the character's costumes etc have been decided, the sketch will be filmed (usually on location) with several other sketches on the same day. Tom will then edit the footage to produce the final article.
