- Open from May to mid-October, our Craig, Alaska facility serves as both our selling venue and the base of our Alaskan stone collecting efforts. Much of our stone comes from remote islands in southeast Alaska and is gathered by boat. We may be the world's only stone operation that collects in such an unorthodox manner. Because of its exceptional geology, southeast Alaska is especially rich in multi-colored marbles and other exotic stones. We proudly find and extract all our own stone, always collecting with utmost sensitivity to the environment.
