As Christians we believe that we are pilgrims on the journey of faith. On this journey we are being drawn by God ever into deeper love for him as we come to know more of his immense love for us. God shows us this love through the life and teaching, the death and resurrection of his son, Jesus Christ. Jesus offers us the gift of forgiveness and the promise of salvation.
In turn we are to show that love in care and service for the world God has created, and for all people. We believe too that we are encouraged and enabled on this journey by the Holy Spirit, who is the power of God at work in the world. The Holy Spirit empowers and inspires our worship and our prayers, our love and our service.
