Homepage for St. John's Windish Evangelical Lutheran Church. This church was founded in the early 1900s by immigrants from the Prekmurje region of what is now Slovenia. Some of the immigrants were Lutheran and some were Catholic. The Catholic immigrants formed St. Joseph's Slovenian Roman Catholic Church. In Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, these people are known as the Windish.
