After owning a Northeast Ohio wholesale sewing and dry cleaning supply business, we saw a need for a “serious” retail sewing shop that would sell products traditionally available only to wholesalers. When we first opened our retail sewing shop back in 1985, we carried dress making fabrics and supplies. While our business was successful, we immediately attracted numerous customers specifically requesting quilting fabrics. Due to the high interest/demand, within two years we discontinued our dress making fabrics and focused exclusively on knitting, quilting, crocheting, rug hooking and other needlework. Our strategy has always been to focus on market trends, and to listen carefully to the desires of our customers. Therefore we now carry a full line of quilting fabrics, quilting notions, yarn, knitting notions, and needlework supplies.
As long as we listen and react to our customers needs, we continue to operate a successful business keeping the excitement and enthusiasm of our trade alive.
Our dedicated staff is comprised of seven highly skilled, experienced ladies. Sixteen years is the average length of employment with us which is so very rare in today’s market! These ladies not only teach the majority of the classes we offer at our shop, but also run our highly popular monthly needlework groups.
