Neil, Kirsty and their three children, Tasha, Harry and George had been coming to Antiparos on family holidays for 15 years. Opening Still Waters on Apandima Beach in the summer of 2000 fulfilled an ambition, researched for months beforehand. In the summer of 1999 they happened upon Apandima Beach on a swimming trip around the island. The run-down taverna that had been there for many years was neglected and closed. A busy year of negotiations and rebuilding led them to open on July 12th 2000.
