- I was born in Liverpool, England but at a very young age, emigrated with my family to Southern Ontario, Canada where I still reside. Through most of my childhood and early adulthood, I held a special reverence for the country of my birth. However, in early 2004, after having lived for more than 30 years in this strange land named Canada, I officially became a citizen and feel I can call it, finally, home.
