Description
The Steam Plant is a unique performing arts center which provides a venue for local, regional, and even national and international events to take place in Salida, Colorado. Watch our Calendar of Events for all types of happenings -- theater, children's programs, rock and roll, classical music, theater, exhibits, meetings, lectures and more.
In addition to our theater, our front lobby also serves as a wonderful art gallery, with shows that change every month or so.
The Steam Plant is a 501(c)3 organization (click hereto see our IRS ruling letter) governed by a board of directors and managed by a half-time employee, our Theater Manager, Elizabeth Ritchie.
