The Center for Coastal Margin Observation & Prediction (CMOP) is creating a new paradigm for the study and management of coastal margins. We seek a shift from “reactive” to “anticipatory” science by taking advantage of the inherent power of structured integrations of information, methods and people. CMOP is a multi-institutional National Science Foundation Science and Technology Center dedicated to coastal margins that are important interfaces between land & oceans.
