Star of the Sea exists as part of a thriving faith community over 100 years old. Under the advocacy of Mary, our patroness, we guide families who trust their children’s education to our care. Inspired by the educational tradition of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, we meet students where they are, in order to lead them on the path toward Christ.
As dedicated educators we realize that parents are the primary educators of their children. In choosing Star of the Sea they show us the commitment they have. In turn we pledge ourselves to work with parents to prepare children to become responsible, contributing member of the community.
We see effective education as stewardship. As gifted individuals we share knowledge and resources available in order to make the world a better place. through our academic curriculum we strive to call forth the very best each student has to offer. Our students’ gifts find affirmation through our holistic educational program that addresses religious, intellectual, social aesthetic, emotional and physical needs.
