“One of the many superstar game designers who helped bring Activision into the spotlight in the early 1980's, Cartwright's resume of accomplishments is a long and distinguished one. Barnstorming, Frostbite,MegaMania, Plaque Attack and SeaQuest were all hit titles which he designed for the Atari VCS. For the Commodore C-64 computer, he designed and produced a licensed home version of the blockbuster movie Aliens, which was the first game to sport digitized cut-scenes in a home game.
